This means weonly hire nice, bright, fun people who work hard bydefault, due totheir motivation and passion for their craft.Requirements: —Experience asabackend engineer for atleast 5years;—Experience with Node.js for atleast 3years;—Experience leading the team for atleast 1year;—Experience with TypeScript and Nest.js for atleast 1year;—Experience working with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQLor MySQL) for atleast 3years;—Experience working with NoSQL databases Redis for atleast 1year;—Experience working with message brokers (preferably RabbitMQ);—Experience with container technologies (Docker);—Experience working with any cloud provider.Would beanadvantage: —Knowledge and experience with NoSQLdatabases;—Knowledge ofAWS;—Knowledge offront-end technologies (React);—Knowledge ofAWS ECS orAWS EKS;—Working with payment/ billing providers (i.e. Stripe, Paypal, Braintree).Responsibilities: 1. Lead the development group inadiscipline:—Hold regular discipline evolution meetings with all the engineers ofthe discipline;—Conduct workshops, present new frameworks, libraries, etc.2. Set updiscipline standards:—Develop and document standards and best practices;—Lead byexample the discipline standards;—Control that standards are respected onall projects;—Identify reusable components between products.3. Manage technical debt:—Organise process ofregistering, grooming, planning oftechnical debt;—Validate technical debt resolution;—Report ontechnical debt.4. Manage the discipline evolution process.5. Guide technical decisions within projects:—Participate inpreparation ofthe technical architecture ofnew big/important functionality;—Project technical assessment.6.
