Node.js/ Fullstack Developer in RST Software Masters

What project will you be working on?

You will join a team that is responsible for one of the most important areas of the entire Trans.eu platform.

This is a service that provides full configuration for the platform based on your role in the system - after logging in, you receive a role, and based on it - access to specific modules in the system.

We are also responsible for the entire push system. This is, among other things, what the automatic refreshment of offers on the stock exchange is based on.

The product itself is used on a very large scale, so we must focus on its efficiency and reliability.

The key technologies we use every day are: Node.js (Typescript), MySQL (MariaDB), RabbitMQ, Redis. 

As a team, we are also responsible for the development of tools used by the entire organization, which serve as the basis for many NodeJS-based services.

Must have:

• Node.js
• Typescript (or willingness to develop in this direction)
• React - basic
• Redux
• REST
• Microservices
• Containerization (Docker)
• MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Redis
• RabbitMQ

Nice to have:

• knowledge of Mqtt
• Application scaling methods
• AWS experience
• Application scaling
• Knowledge of servers/Linux

We expect:

• Node.js + TypeScript - you should be able to type the code yourself, which is untyped, know the difference between type and interface and be proficient in using asynchrony (async/await/promise).
• REST, Message Broker, Microservices - you understand how services communicate and how services can communicate synchronously or asynchronously.
• Design Patterns - you can identify and apply basic design patterns.
• Software testing - you know at least one code testing tool, you understand why writing tests is an important stage of software development.
• Containerization - you are able to independently prepare a container containing the application / you are able to set up a local environment for the service using Docker-Compose
• Problem solving - you are able to independently propose a solution to a given problem and estimate its advantages and disadvantages.
