Location Comment: our candidate should be able to fly to the UK approximately once a month.

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer for our clients in the Telecommunications industry.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of development experience using Node.js.
• Experience in microservices development.
• Experience deploying in containerized environments & sidecar concepts.
• Experience using Cloud API Gateways such as APIGee, Endpoints, or Mulesoft.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, GitHub, GitLab, and DevOps pipelines (e.g., Terraform, CLI, Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
• Experience with container registries and Docker.
• Preferred: 4 years of experience with Google Cloud Services.
• Extensive experience in Agile program delivery.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio).
• Knowledge of ESB or SOA.
• Proficiency with Gradle/Maven/build tools.
• Experience with GCP/GKE.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, StackDriver).

Desirable Additional Skills:

• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Effective communication skills and team collaboration experience.
• Client exposure and the ability to prepare for and work with client teams, as well as participate in meetings.

Process:

Candidates will undergo an initial interview followed by a technical round involving development squad leads. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate code from previous projects and explain the functions and features they have implemented.
