We are scaling quickly and have over 100 team members speaking 17 different languages in over 33 countries across 5 continents who all collaborate together to drive our passion for success.We're building the tools for online commerce that help new businesses get started, expedite growth for existing companies, and empower sellers to reach new heights.We are looking for a Full Time NodeJS Developer.We are a completely remote team spread across the world, with a deep passion for making the web a more beautiful, usable, and reliable place.What you will be responsible for :Managing a small group of 2-3 software developersProviding technical leadership to the rest of the teamAllocating tasks and working with other team members and other teamsSelecting the right technology stack and helping with systems designImproving developer’s productivityImproving performance in key areas of the productEnsuring software qualityReducing technical debtWriting new features and documentationSetting up and following software development best practicesFixing bugsCollaborating with Product and Customer support teamsWork closely with the Product Manager on defining prioritiesWhat we are looking for :Proven work experience (+6 years) as a NodeJS backend developerSolid SQL knowledgeProfessional experience building web applicationsPassion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient codeFluency in English is a mustYou have experience building secure softwareYou are self-driven and are able to understand complex systems and how to improve themNice to have :Working experience with AWSWorking knowledge of NoSQL databasesProfessional experience with React Native desirableProfessional experience with DockerExperience with VueJS 3Startup experience desirableAvailability in GMT +/- 3
