Node.js Developer in Prai

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 1.5 years of experience in Node.js development and possess strong knowledge of SQL, particularly in constructing complex queries in PostgreSQL. Experience with Retool is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation in PostgreSQL.
• Integrate applications with front-end elements using Express.js.
• Utilize Sequelize for object-relational mapping (ORM) to manage database operations.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure seamless functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.

• Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring deadlines are met.

   

Requirements:

• 1.5+ years of experience in Node.js development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience in building complex queries in PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Sequelize for ORM.
• Proficiency in Express.js for building web applications.
• Familiarity with Retool is a major advantage.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for project delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
