We are looking for a Node.JS developer to join a team working on a European social platform that connects sports centers, gyms, coaches and sports federations into a single community. The platform includes a WEB part for club administrators and iOS and Android mobile applications for users.

Technology stack: JavaScript/TypeScript; Node.js; Express.js; MongoDB; Kafka; AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of end-to-end functionality, ensuring high quality releases;
• Continuous improvement of system performance and stability;
• Collaboration with other specialists to define functional and non-functional requirements;
• Active participation in code reviews and design discussions;
• Writing well designed, efficient and tested code.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial development and design of modern software architecture;
• High level of knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+);
• Understanding and experience in back-end development using Node.js;
• Experience in unit, integration, functional and performance testing;
• Practical work experience in an Agile environment;
• Upper-Intermediate level of English;
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Will be a plus:

• Expertise in DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins;
• Understanding of client-side scripts;
• Working skills with Angular;
• Experience with Kafka;
• Experience developing cloud applications with Amazon Web Services or other cloud providers.
