Journalist-news reporter for the news feed of the website "Odeske Life" in Centr media, informacionnoe agentstvo

Responsibilities:

• Filling the news feed: quality selection of topics that are important and interesting to the audience;
• Writing extended news so that the reader understands why he should read them;
• Monitoring of media, state websites, social networks;
• Fact-checking of information;
• Communication with speakers, receiving comments for news;
• Uploading to the site and, if necessary, editing of reporters' texts;
• Selection of relevant photos for texts;
• Writing news taking into account the principles of content SEO;
• Reading automatic translation;
• Participation in editorial planners;
• Interaction with the content manager of social networks.

Required experience and qualifications:

• Awareness of the socio-political situation in the country;
• Orientation in the local context of Odessa and the region;
• Knowledge of standards of journalism and professional ethics;
• Literacy, command of the Ukrainian language at a high level;
• Understanding the stylistics of writing texts and news headlines;
• Ability to quickly and efficiently edit other people's texts;
• Experience with WordPress administration would be an advantage;
• Understanding of content SEO will be an advantage.
