Proficient knowledge of concepts, protocols and technologies related to network security (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, SSL/IPSec, NGFW, IDS/IPS, NAC, Proxy) Experience in implementing solutions related to network segmentation, e.g. zonal firewalls, micro-segmentation Experience managing firewall policy automation platforms, e.g. Tufin or Algosec Knowledge of cloud security solutions (e.g. SASE/SSE, SWG, CASB, DLP) Strong network knowledge and experience in traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark, Nmap Knowledge SIEM solutions such as Splunk, log analysis and creating advanced correlation queries Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST, CIS Benchmarks) Strong knowledge of scripting languages ​​such as Python, PowerShell or BASH for analytical tasks Ability to assess network vulnerabilities and recommend strategies Threat Mitigation Experience in solution design or engineering/development ** Education ** Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably as a network engineer/analyst or similar position. Certifications from industry suppliers (at least one of the following suppliers: Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) or knowledge of solutions at the certification level are welcome. Advanced degrees or certifications in cybersecurity (e.g. CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are an advantage.
