Network engineer

We invite for long-term cooperation a specialist who has a good understanding of Ethernet networks and network equipment, is able to test it and sees his own development in this field.

Who are we and what do we do?

• The company Larch Networks (larch-networks. com) on the market since 2009, two offices — in Israel and Kyiv, the main development center is in Kyiv.
• The company has two directions — design and product.
• The main field of activity — development of software and hardware for switches, network equipment and embedded systems.

Why do we do it?

• Since projects are the historical foundation and basis of the company, so when working with clients' projects, we constantly develop technologically, keep our finger on the pulse and try to make high-class projects.

How do we do it?

• At work we use the following tools:
• RedMine as Bug/Task Tracker
• GitLab as Version control and Continuous Integration
• TestRail for working with test plans
• Python language system for automated testing

What professional skills are important to us:

< li>Experience and knowledge of networks (L2/L3 protocols including VLAN, STP, IGMP, OSPF, BGP, ARP)
• Experience configuring Cisco equipment or other network equipment via CLI
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with service settings (Syslog, RADIUS, Samba etc)
• OP with Python (scapy, setuptools, regular expressions, pyexpect) or other scripting languages
• li>

Will be a plus:

• Experience as a system administrator
• CCNA certification will also be an advantage
• Does English and on what level?
• English is required for reading and writing technical documentation.

• Testing software for managing routers developed
• Preparation of test plans
• Conducting manual tests
• Writing scripts (mainly in Python) for automated testing

• We have several projects in the works at the same time, the company has been operating for more than 10 years and has successfully completed many projects, different projects last from three months to several years.
• Where are the people who take technical questions about the project? The head of the group, department and technical director are nearby in Kyiv. Project managers and VP R&D are in Israel.
