Avenga is looking for a Senior .Net Engineer for our customer, one of the largest European suppliers of doors, garage doors, frames, and operators for use in the private, trade, and industrial sectors alone or in group settings. We believe in developing and supporting our engineers so that they can reach their full potential while facilitating a healthy work/life balance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience with .Net (C#);
• Good hands-on experience with .NET Core 3+, .NET Framework 4.8+, .NET 6, Docker;
• Deep knowledge of Microservices;
• Familiarity with modern development tools and methodologies (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile/Scrum);
• High level of understanding of graph databases;
• Excellent debugging skills and knowledge of xUnit;
• English — Upper-Intermediate.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Management Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in development streams for re-architecture and refactoring activities;
• Implement new functionality with care for users and hope for future expansion and support;
• Write code that will implement the expected desired behavior;
• Expand the system without losing support for existing features;
• Optimize system bottlenecks to reduce user dissatisfaction;
• Introduce new approaches, technologies, the realization of own potential by pursuing interests of business;
• Provide constructive criticism and a desire to grow.
