NDA, HealthCare / Data Engineer in SD Solutions

On behalf of the client, SD Solutions is looking for a Data Engineer to join the health industry.



We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in building our cloud-based SaaS data analytics, insight, and tracking platform. You will be working closely with our data engineering and developer team.

Responsibilities:
 

• Develop APIs for user-facing features and system functionality.
• Provide input, guidance, and implement application architecture, tooling, and data security.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across platforms and browsers.
• Integrate the product suite with Azure services (including Azure Databricks) for security, deployment, and data storage.
• Actively participate in team meetings and code reviews.

Requirements:
 

• 3+ years of experience developing complex data-driven application back-ends.
• 3+ years of experience working with Databricks tooling including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and SQL Warehouse.
• Strong experience (3+ years is a must) with Python, Node.js, and SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc).
• Deep understanding of data-driven application architectures and tooling.
• Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs on FastAPI or Flask.
• Extensive experience working in cloud environments and applications, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience with/knowledge of app deployment and security best practices.
• Proficiency with object-oriented programming and data structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have:
 

• DevOps and data engineering experience.
• Functional programming experience.
• Knowledge of scalable application design patterns.
