Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring planning and quality control of MEL department activities
  • Development of assessment tools, methodologies, sampling strategies and required MEL guidelines
  • Responsibilities for data quality management and MEL compliance
  • Maintain documentation and provide timely MEL reports/dashboards/newsletters
  • Identify knowledge gaps and provide capacity building and training for MEL and program staff< /li>

Requirements:

  • Higher education, preferably in social sciences, statistics, research, international development or economics, or other related fields.
  • Experience of working in an international non-governmental organization for at least 3 years
  • Experience and knowledge of principles and modern approaches to monitoring and evaluation in emergency situations and development programs
  • Understanding data and information needs for program management and decision-making
  • Desirable: experience using SPSS, STATA, Power BI, GIS
