Monitoring, evaluation and accountability specialist in BF MISIYa HARKIV, BO

Mission Kharkivis one of the largest medical charities in Ukraine in terms of the amount of aid provided. One of the key directions of our work is the systematic support of adult patients with oncological diseases.

Since 2022, our organization has been implementing large-scale programs for the supply of medicines, transportation and evacuation of patients, providing first aid, providing hygiene kits, as well as providing psychosocial support to beneficiaries and strengthening the capacity of medical personnel.

Location: Kharkiv (with regular business trips)

Duration of the contract: 10 months, with the possibility of extension, subject to available funding.
Expected start date: 02/01/2026

The MEAL specialist will be responsible for construction and implementation of a monitoring, assessment and accountability system within the project, aimed at increasing the readiness of employees of critical infrastructure enterprises to respond to emergency situations through training in pre-medical assistance and provision of medical equipment.

The position involves close cooperation with the project manager, trainers, program and operational teams, beneficiaries, as well as participation in interaction with donor.

Main functions and responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of the project monitoring plan in accordance with the logframe and donor requirements.
• Creation and administration of data collection tools (registration forms, pre/post-tests, feedback questionnaires) using KoboToolbox, Google Forms and/or Airtable.
• Collection, systematization and analysis of data on trainings, coverage of beneficiaries, achievement of results indicators.
• Participation in field trips to monitor the quality of training and the use of the provided equipment.
• Preparation of monitoring and analytical reports with conclusions and recommendations for improving implementation of the project.
• Ensuring the completeness, accuracy and safe storage of data, compliance with the principles of confidentiality and protection of personal data.
• Support and administration of feedback mechanisms and response to complaints within the project.
• Participation in the preparation of monthly and final project reports in coordination with the project manager.
• If necessary — participation in baseline assessments or other simple assessments of the effectiveness of project activities.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher thanof the world in social sciences, public policy, economics, project management or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, accountability or project management (humanitarian or development projects preferred).
• Understanding of MEAL principles, logframes, results indicators and donor accountability.
• Practical experience in developing and using data collection tools (questionnaires, surveys, feedback forms).
• Confident use of Excel / Google Sheets; experience with KoboToolbox is an advantage; knowledge of Airtable is desirable.
• The level of English is not lower than Intermediate (reading donor requirements, preparation of materials).
• Attention to details, responsibility in working with data and documentation.
• Analytical thinking, ability to structure information and formulate practical recommendations.
• Readiness for field work and regular trips.
