International charitable organization"SOS Children's Town" Ukraine within the framework of the Swiss Solidarity Kharkiv project, announces a competition for the position style="font-weight: bold">The goal of the project is to support vulnerable children and their families in the Kharkiv region so that they become more resilient to the risks associated with child protection and psychosocial risks.

As a non-governmental social development organization, we support children deprived of parental care and families in difficult life circumstances through the provision of care, education, health care and emergency assistance services, and we also advocate for the rights of children and youth together with other partner organizations. Our organization is a member of the international federation SOS Children's Villages International (SOS Kinderdorf). We work in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and spread its principles.

    Higher education in project management, social work, psychology, sociology or related disciplines, combined with in-depth knowledge of research methodology;

  • Confirmed work experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation (minimum 1 year), including development and implementation of M&E systems, tools and tools;

  • Knowledge and experience working with child and family development programs, and/or child protection in emergency situations, and/or working with conflict-affected children, and/or conducting vulnerability assessments of such children;

  • Excellent analytical skills, experience in collecting, processing and interpreting data; proficiency in visual dashboarding tools and/or statistical software (eg Power BI, Tableau, etc.);

  • Experience with performance framework indicators and project implementation monitoring;

  • High level of proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets and Google Forms; 

  • Developed communication and interpersonal skills, tolerance and friendliness in working with different groups of people; 

  • Result orientation, responsibility, ability to make independent decisions and system planning;

  • Understanding modern approaches to learning, evaluating and improving project effectiveness;

  • Tactfulness, sensitivity to cultural differences, adherence to the principles of neutrality and impartiality;

  • High level of self-organization and effective time management;

  • Fluent command of the Ukrainian language; knowledge of the English language at a level not lower than A2. 

  • Primary Responsibilities: 

    • Implementation of monitoring and evaluation measures within the project in accordance with approved plans and methodology;

    • Development, adaptation and implementation of M&E tools (questionnaires, focus groups, key informant interviews, feedback mechanisms, etc.); 

    • Uchadevelopment of the M&E plan and periodic plans in accordance with the work plans of the project; 

    • Data collection, verification, cleaning, consolidation and analysis; conducting regular data quality checks (completeness, reliability, consistency, avoidance of double counting); 

       

    • Promoting communication activities and raising the visibility of the project by collecting success stories, feedback and examples from field work; 

    • Documentation of results and dissemination of lessons learned and best practices between teams and partners; 

       

    • Regular reporting to the line and functional manager on monitoring results, challenges, beneficiary feedback and progress in achieving indicators; 

    • Performing other tasks related to M&E functions as assigned by the manager.
