The project is aimed at supporting vulnerable population groups affected by the war through legal, social and psychological assistance, as well as strengthening public participation and access to quality services. The position of community mobilizer involves the organization of activities for the development of communities, individual work with beneficiaries and close interaction with other specialists of the project to ensure a comprehensive approach to the provision of services. and humanitarian aid. The organization also promotes changes in legislation, the involvement of communities in responding to emergency situations, and the search for long-term solutions in cooperation with and with the support of authorities, paying special attention to the most vulnerable groups. style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Under the leadership of the Community Mobilization Coordinator and in close cooperation with other project specialists, the community mobilizer will perform the following duties:Discovery volunteers, proactivegroups, associations of citizens and organizations that provide assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and persons affected by the conflict, to establish cooperation and partnership relations.
Providing consulting and methodical support on issues of organizational development, capacity development and implementation of public initiatives.
Collection, verification and analysis of human rights violations risks for IDPs and other affected population groups.
Conducting individual meetings and communicating with IDPs and persons affected by hostilities, identifying their needs and identifying the most vulnerable categories.
Providing informational support regarding access to social, legal, psychological and other types of assistance.
Development of informational materials (booklets, manuals, etc.).
Processing requests for assistance based on assessment of the needs of beneficiaries.
Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences or other related field.
Experience in human rights protection, social work, communications, advocacy, education, journalism, international relations, research, community development or other relevant disciplines is welcome.
Experience in humanitarian projects is an advantage.
Quick ability to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Ability to effectively perform tasks in accordance with assigned responsibilities and project goals.
Understanding and implementing in practice a community-based approach as a way of interacting with IDPs.
High motivation to work in the field of humanitarian aid and community support.
Excellent computer skills (MS Office package required).
Readiness for business trips within the project implementation region.
Fluency in the Ukrainian language (oral and written).
Knowledge of the English language (oral and written) is an advantage.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with different groups of beneficiaries.
Knowledge of the local context or work experience in the project implementation region.
Willingness to participate in professional development and training events for professional development.
Experience in facilitating and conducting training events.
Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
