ML/AI specialist (development of systems for BpAK and analytics) in Ahilles, 429 Okremiy polk Bezpilotnih Sistem

The 429th separate regiment of unmanned systems "Achilles" performs combat missions in the hottest areas of the front. The unit was created on the basis of the BpAK shock battalion, which was part of the 92nd OShBr. In 2023-2024, "Achilles" destroyed and damaged 19,853 legitimate military targets of the enemy. In January 2025, the battalion was scaled into the 429th separate regiment of unmanned systems "Achilles" as part of the Armed Forces.

The regiment's IT team is engaged in the implementation of artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency of unmanned systems: from automatic video processing to building analytical models and generating reports.

Duties

• Development and implementation of ML/AI models for drone image and video analysis
• Building systems for automatic detection and classification of objects
• Optimization of algorithms for work on embedded devices (edge computing)
• Automation of data collection, processing and visualization for command
• Integration of models into internal software systems of the regiment

Requirements

• Experience with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV
• Practical skills in the field of computer vision, NLP, generative models
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and tools for data analysis
• Experience in optimizing models for limited computing resources will be a big plus
• Willingness to work in a military environment and quickly adapt solutions to combat tasks
