MilTech Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes, GCP) in Tehno+

We create highly loaded systems for unmanned aerial vehicles: digital communication, telemetry, video streaming, ground stations, data processing servers, analytics and infrastructure.

You will need to work in an environment where stability, predictability, automation and thoroughness are important, because our systems work in real flights.

We do not make money from the military, for us this is important.

Possible options with the work schedule, as well as variationsremote/ hybrid/ office. It is also possible purely remotewith temporary business trips to the Kyiv officefor integration into the team after booking. Preference to candidates living in Ukraine.

• DevOps — experience from 4 years.
• Kubernetes — experience from 2 years
• Terraform - experience from 2 years.
• Experience of deployment from scratch in production using Kubernetes
• English- not required)
• Motivationin non-working hours to fix small problems if they came from the front (1 hour)

Will be a plus

• InfluxDB / PostgreSQL work with large telemetry arrays
• Experience in maintenance and work with Apache Airflow, Vertex AI
• Ability to create Python automation scripts and mini-apps.
• Experience deploying self-hosted Kubernetes (kubeadm, kubespray, k3s)

Your responsibilities

Infrastructure and Environment

• Building and maintaining infrastructure in GCR (Cloud KMSIAM, Cloud KMS, IAM, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine)
• Automation of service deployment (ZeroMQ services, telemetry, backend API, microservices)
• Management of Debian servers (Linux networking, systemd, iptables, wireguard VPN)

CI/CD and Automation

• Building a full CI/CD in GitHub Actions for backend, frontend, firmware and microservices
• Automatic build of Docker images with cross-platform support
• Repository standardization, auto tests, autodeploy dev/staging

Containerization

• DevOps Engineer Docker & Docker Compose: using best practices to optimize image size, speed up container builds, configure application GUIs, bypass access to USB/Ethernet/other devices, improve container security

Monitoring / Observability

• Collecting metrics from services, ground stations, setting up alerts, creating Grafana dashboards, writing custom Prometheus exporters. Collecting logs using Alloy, structuring them and setting up sending to Loki. Linux audit system configuration

Configuration automation

• Ansible: deployment of ground-station nodes, servers, internal services
• Deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure with the help of Terraform
• Generation of configurations, safe storage of secrets, update of services "in one click?

Security

• Configuring GCP IAM based on the principle of least privilege
• Storing secrets in Secret Manager
• Encrypting sensitive data using KMS
• Automating security audits and code
