Middle UX/UI designer in Hacken OU

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic UI/UX designer responsible for crafting the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) for our projects. Your role will involve ensuring all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improvement and excellence.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in UX design, visual design, interaction design, and product thinking;
• A compelling portfolio showcasing your design skills, including products and websites with exceptional visual aesthetics, interaction design patterns, and strategic product thinking;
• Proficiency with ideation techniques;
• In-depth understanding of key UI/UX principles, processes, and methodologies, extending beyond mere aesthetics;
• Passion for analyzing and comprehending complex quantitative data and qualitative insights to inform design decisions;
• Experience in building and supporting design systems for group products and services;
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Figma, etc.;
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and proactive improvement of results;
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, with strong multitasking skills;

Responsibilities:

• Define visual strategy and make strategic design and user-experience decisions for core and new Hacken’s products and services, including landing pages and corporate & product websites;
• Understand our customers, product, and business strategy to deliver culturally-, product-, and customer-specific work results;
• Perform all functions of the product design lifecycle: sketches, wireframes, concept designs, end-to-end user flows, interaction design, prototyping, pixel-perfect UI, documentation, accessibility checks, and testing/design QA;
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to articulate, negotiate, and refine design requirements, arriving at optimal design solutions;
• Design digital advertisements for social media, mobile devices, and TV screens;
• Create digital content assets for websites, including landing pages, blog posts, news articles, case studies, and whitepapers;
• Visualize data and infographics;
• Manage events branding, including booth design and merchandise;
• Incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into designs to enhance user experience.
• Identify areas for improvement in your work and that of others on the project, striving for holistic product consistency;
• Advocate for and improve design culture and best practices within the organization;
