Sommo is looking for a UI/UX Designer. We are an innovative team working on exciting new directions — no-code design & development. We focus on building MVPs (on  Bubble.io ) and landing pages (on  Webflow ) for startups and early-stage products for clients all over the world.

This position’s main work would be creating UX/UI design for functional web and mobile applications, as well as UI for landing pages. You’ll have an opportunity to work with a wide variety of products and clients in the early stages, test your skills in different environments, and create a rich portfolio of your own design works. You’ll be able to also participate in creating design and branding for our own product portfolio: Natively (Google for Startups Ukraine winner), PEmarketplace , BetYouCan , etc.

Required skills:

• You have at least 2 years of commercial experience in UX/UI design, working on web and mobile applications;
• You have a good understanding of the iterative development approach;
• You have the ability to create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications;
• You have experience with responsive web design;
• You have strong skills in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups;
• You have strong analytical skills to understand user needs, identify usability issues, and propose effective design solutions;
• You have extensive experience of work with Figma, using components, variants and auto-layouts;
• You have an understanding of atomic design;
• You have at least an Upper-Intermediate English level (both written and spoken);
• You have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects, including web and mobile applications, landing pages, and branding work.

Will be a plus:

• Еxperience with Webflow;
• Experience with animation and motion design.

What you will do:

• Design and develop user-centric interfaces for web and mobile applications;
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas;
• Translating landing page design into Webflow (we’ll learn this);
• Conduct and participate in product workshops;
• Moodboard and design concepts creation;
• Presenting your work results to stakeholders and product team;
• Preparing assets for the development team;
• Collaborating with other designers, developers, PMs, and stakeholders to achieve the best results;
• Planning and estimating design activities;
• Analyzing technical requirements of projects;
• Holding and reporting a regular and clear status of the design progress.
