Project Description:
Join our exciting project—a unique online social media platform exclusively for seafarers, offering features akin to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This platform allows seafarers to post, share, create content, form groups, learn, and connect with other seafarers and maritime businesses. It includes a global employment portal with job postings, company profiles, and recruitment professionals all in one place.

Important Note: This vacancy offers part-time work, specifically 6 hours per day.
Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership across projects, driving initiatives, identifying opportunities, performing high-level analysis, making well-founded decisions, and assuming full responsibility for outcomes.
- Establishing and managing communication channels and relationships, ensuring client needs are effectively translated to the project team.
- Overseeing team dynamics to ensure balance and retention, contributing to the overall growth and success of projects.
- Implementing effective risk and quality management practices.
- Budget Planning : Developing, forecasting, and allocating budget plans in alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitoring & Reporting : Tracking expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgets, and providing financial reports
- Experience in pre-sales activities, leading the clients from the first touch.
- Experience with discovery stages, contributing to project scoping and planning.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 to 3.5 years’ experience in leading projects and teams, with a proven track record of managing multiple IT small-to-medium projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in navigating distributed teams and engaging with multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated success in fostering customer partnerships and project expansion.
- Solid understanding and practical application of Agile Scrum methodologies, Fixed Price and T&M project management.
- Ability to guide the team in establishing efficient project processes, recommending strategic approaches, tools, and methods.
- Expertise in people management, including development, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive team environment.
- A proactive learning attitude, strong self-organization skills, and the capability to work autonomously.
- Fluent in English (Upper-Intermediate level) and native Slovak language proficiency.
- Experience in pre-sales activities, including involvement in the discovery stage, contributing to project scoping and planning.
- Familiarity with drafting and working with SoW, MSA, and legal agreements.
- Ability to manage deadlines, costs, and risks, ensuring the high quality of projects delivered.
A big plus:
- Experience in pre-sales activities, leading the clients from the first touch.
- Experience with discovery stages, contributing to project scoping and planning.
- Understanding of the PMBOK standard is considered a big plus.
