Middle System/Business Analyst in Softjourn

About the project:

The Client is a card transaction processing company, that provides services to banks and other state or commercial companies within Ukraine and abroad. The project offers payment solutions: money transfers, POS services, ATM monitoring services, etc. The system accepts payments by payment cards and e-wallets and provides convenient tools for the development of e-commerce. In addition, the team works on separate services for Merchant control, simplified flows to process the payments, etc.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a System/Business Analyst;
• 1-2 years of experience in the financial domain (related to plastic cards, payments, and other card services);
• Experience with at least one successful fintech project;
• Experience analyzing, clarifying, and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications, creating Jira tasks;
• Experience in describing, analyzing, and improving business processes;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business presentation skills;
• General API understanding;
• General understanding and experience working with SQL, DB;
• Knowledge of Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence);
• Experience with at least one successful fintech project;
• Ukrainian language knowledge;
• Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the project backlog, prioritizing tasks to align with project objectives, and optimizing workflow efficiency;
• Clarifying requirements to facilitate clear communication between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring seamless implementation;
• Utilizing SQL and database expertise to extract, analyze, and manipulate data as required for project needs, ensuring effective data management and informed decision-making;
• Utilizing the Atlassian product suite, particularly Jira and Confluence, for project management, documentation, and collaboration purposes;
• Analyzing and interpreting business requirements within the financial domain, translating them into clear and concise functional and technical specifications;
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and document project requirements;
• Utilizing project experience in plastic cards, payments, and other card services to contribute to the success of the project;
• Transformation business requirements into technical tasks for the team, describing, clarifying requirements, and dividing the scope based on components (BE, FE);
• Demonstrating a general understanding of APIs and their role within the banking environment.
