Middle Strong/Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for Middle Strong /Senior DevOps Engineer (4 + years of experience) for a German project (a platform for collecting and analyzing feedback).

Basic requirements:

— 4+ years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer;

— Excellent knowledge of CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions);

- 3 years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker;

- Experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, ECS, CloudWatch, S3, IAM, AWS CloudFormation Templates);

- Excellent knowledge of UNIX/Linux;

— Knowledge of programming languages ​​(Python/Ruby) and databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB/DuckBD);

— Technical education;

— Work according to the principles of IaC (Infrastructure as Code);

— English language — Intermediate strong + (daily meetings);

— Personal qualities: sociability, organization, ability to work in a team, desire to develop and grow professionally.

About the project:

Country: Germany

Company size: 30 employees, development team ~ 6 developers.

Project is a platform for receiving feedback from users and employees through POS terminals, providing analytics for customers based on this feedback. The product has been in development since 2012.

Responsibilities on the project (What are the main responsibilities? What exactly needs to be done on the project?)

- Further development, support and administration of the entire infrastructure product (AWS and Kubernetes);

— Automation of processes in the infrastructure (dockerization, deployment scenarios);

—Development and administration of data processing pipeline;

— Further development and administration of the product monitoring system and its microservices;

— Support and development of reliable backup strategies for databases (MongoDB/AWS Aurora/S3 Data Lake);

—Active participation in the further development of microservices.
