We’re looking for a  Middle Software Engineer (Back-End) for the team of our flagship product — CleanMyMac.

CleanMyMac is an all-in-one package to awesomize your Mac. It cleans megatons of junk and makes your computer run faster, just like it did on day one. It scans the entire macOS, removes junk and malware — everything from system junk to iTunes copies — and frees Gigabytes of space on your Mac.

CleanMyMac has been recognized through numerous awards and reviews. It has 20+ million users worldwide and a history of dynamic growth. We are the leader in the Mac cleaning utility market and make our product with care about our users.

You will join the CleanMyMac X Business team . It’s a new product of the CleanMyMac product family that will help organizations maintain their hardware and improve their security. Looking like a startup, acting as a startup, moving as a startup, and actually being a startup.

As part of the team, you will be responsible for building the backend that will allow everything to work together and empower the service with a real heartbeat.

In this role, you will:

• Encompass adapting and enhancing the existing architecture and technologies to suit the unique needs of the CleanMyMac Business clients
• Build new features and customize existing ones to meet the specific product requirements
• Analyze and validate technical solutions for business problems/ideas/needs. Suggest alternatives with reasoning about their pros and cons
• Contribute to the product with ideas, features, and improvements. Suggest architectural solutions and/or development tools to implement technical tasks
• Implement technical solutions to cover all acceptance criteria and other team agreements
• React to issues and failures by investigating and fixing them according to the product task priorities
• Suggest technical solutions for increasing the product stability and performance if needed
• Communicate with the team to clarify implementation details and edge cases, suggest better ways to solve the issue, specify input or missing data and possible use cases/flows to successfully implement a solution, and make constructive collaborations if needed
• Share knowledge about the product (structure, documentation, architectural details, etc.) with the engineering team to keep the team well-informed about the product`s state

Skills you’ll need to bring:

• Hands-on experience with PHP 8x+, Symfony 6x, Doctrine, MongoDB, Redis, REST API, Linux shell, Docker, PHPUnit
• Strong sense of ownership, ability to self-manage and work independently, great communication skills
• Great ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
• B1 English

As a Plus:

• Experience with high-load systems, micro-service architecture
• Experience with GCD infra stack, Behat, RabbitMQ, GitHub Actions,Graphana
