We seek a highly skilled and motivated Middle Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will ensure our systems’ reliability, scalability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS technologies, containerisation, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Setup:

• Configure and maintain AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, and others.
• Implemented and managed infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with the development team to set up and optimize Lambda, SNS, and SQS for efficient processing.

CI/CD Setup:

• Utilize GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment.
• Automate build and deployment processes to streamline development workflows.

Monitoring and Alerting:

• Implement robust monitoring solutions to track system performance and uptime.
• Set up alerts and responses to proactively address issues and minimize downtime.

Security:

• Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in the infrastructure.
• Work on enhancing security measures across AWS services and other components.

Research and Development:

• Engage in research activities to stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices.
• Contribute insights to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our systems.

Requirements:

• Proficient in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS, RDS, etc.), Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, and Terraform.
• Experience with infrastructure as code principles, explicitly using Terraform.
• Familiarity with security practices and fixing vulnerabilities.
• Previous involvement in infrastructure setup, CI/CD, and monitoring tasks.
• Ability to conduct research within project tasks for continuous improvement.
• Security vulnerability fixing.
• Support of the development team.
• Intermediate Strong level of English or higher.
