Requirements: AProduct Support Engineer (PSE) will bepart ofaworld-class, highly motivated, highly skilled team ofTechnical Support Engineers (TSE) who are committed tosupport carrier grade wireless equipment and Management System tocustomers invarious verticals starting from WISP toFederal Governments. This person would have tobecome part ofthe engineering team and partner with the engineering team todrive software fixes and solutions tocomplex issue. Required Skills: • BS/MS degree inatechnical discipline (Radio/Electrical/Computer Engineering orTelecommunications)• Minimum of1+years ofindustry experience supporting real-world products orsystems • Understanding ofRF architecture and radio-wave propagation (MCS, Power Control, RFlink budget calculation )• Experience inLinux/Network administration • Understanding and knowledge ofL2/L3 networking standards • Willingness/ ability totravel occasionally for customer visits, trainings, etc. • Ability tomulti-task between two ormore projects and perform these tasks with velocity • Upper-Intermediate level ofEnglish Preferred Skills: • Experience inwireless communications industry (fixed narrowband, broadband, cellular and/or software-defined radio experience isabig plus)• Understanding ofradio-link parameters (SNR, CINR, RSSI, NF)• Knowledge ofdigital transmission systems and modulation techniques (MIMO, OFDM, QAM, QPSK and BPSK)• Knowledge ofwirelessRF equipment and tools (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators and Arbitrary Waveform Generators)• Experience inthe wireless network system test (MAC layer protocols, Security protocols, 802.3/ 802.1standards, • Knowledge oftraffic testing techniques and tools (IXIA/JDSU/Wireshark/Iperf)• Experience with following tools: TestRail, Jenkins, Jira • Ability todevelop troubleshooting guides and toeffectively mentor aswell aslearn from team members • Ability tointerface with end customers and operators intraining, assisting and troubleshoot product deployments • Logical mind-set which isessential for efficient debugging ofproduct defects and reported issues • Good logical communication skills, both verbal and written • Self-motivated personality and ability towork independently aswell asonateam Responsibilities: • Support aseries ofnarrowband and/or broadband outdoor and indoor wireless products and systems • Analysis oftechnical requirements and published standards inorder todebug customer reported issues • Reproduce customer reported issues inalaboratory environment • Formal testing involving test specification, execution, result capture and analysis • Isolate, reproduce, track and verify bugs • Timely and accurate reporting ofwork activity status and issues • Evaluate RFperformance ofcustomer networks tobetter resolve customer reported issues • Interface with customers, particularly with high priority escalations.
