GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Java Developer to join our engineering team.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Java developer to join our growing technology team within the WPP division, focusing on building technology products for some of the world’s leading media agencies. The successful candidate will work alongside developers and other members of the scrum teams of the WPP division.

Requirements:

— 3-4+ year/s of backend development

— Strong Java8/Spring (Boot, Data) knowledge. Java17 would be a plus

— Strong knowledge of Unit, Integration testing

— Intermediate+ English is a must

— Good knowledge in ORM with JPA

— REST APIs knowledge and experience is mandatory

— Strong knowledge of SQL

— Good knowledge with Google Cloud would be a big plus

— Python knowledge would be a plus

Responsibilities:

— Backend development. Implementation of new components in accordance with available and defined/agreed requirements. Along with supporting the existing codebase that is running in production.

— Perform code reviews and help junior developers in the team.

— Implement Unit and Integration Tests along with taking part in improving Automated Behavior Test Suit.

— Take an active part in the architectural discussions and decisions. Be a proactive member of the team.

— Work in the changing environment using Lean methodologies.

— Participation in daily meetings with the customer and team, which consists of both GL people and customer people.
