Middle/Senior Embedded Developer (Device Team) in Ajax Systems

Ajax Systems is a developer and manufacturer of Ajax security systems with smart home capabilities. These are more than 100 devices, mobile and desktop applications, server infrastructure. The Ajax line includes control centers with its own RTOS (OS Malevich), motion, opening, flood protection and fire sensors, street and home sirens, alarm button with device control function, smart sockets and relays. Device Department develops devices for security and automation.

We are looking for a development engineer for smart home devices. A person who, together with us, will develop compact wireless sensors and devices for the security alarm system and home automation. We need an inventor who can bring ideas to life using the best technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in a team of experienced embedded developers and engineers;
• Participation in the improvement and development of the SDK and assembly system;

• Implementation and support of complex software.

   

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position;
• Confidence in C/C++;
• Experience with Bash, Python;
• Skills with Git, Make and CMake;
• Experience with microcontrollers based on the ARM Cortex-M core;
• Experience with various internal and external peripherals and sensors;
• Experience in developing low-power devices;

• SW/HW debugging, emulation and debugging experience;
• Networking and Security experience, understanding of OSI model;
• Experience with OTA updates;
• li>Good analytical problem-solving skills;

• Good written and oral communication skills in English.

• Experience with secure boot, ARM TrustZone;
• Experience with wireless communications, access to the general communication channel;
• Linux development experience;
• Experience with various compilers, emulators and debuggers;

• Experience with BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Sub-GHz.
