Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer (part-time)

Unidatalab is looking for a DevOps Engineer for a part-time involvement , to assist us with a variety of projects, mainly focused on AI and Machine Learning.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and document complex software infrastructures in the cloud;
• Set up and maintain CI/CD processes;
• Support and collaborate with engineering teams within the software development lifecycle;
• Provide consultations on DevOps-related challenges and best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
• Comprehensive knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting;
• Strong proficiency in Linux-based OS & bash scripting;
• Proficiency in AWS services (Amazon EKS, EC2, RDS, and related services);
• Expertise in IAC using Terraform;
• Strong proficiency in Docker;
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions tools;
• Solid understanding of basic network concepts: DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and common network protocols such as TCP/IP, WebSocket, and gRPC.
• Familiarity with GPU instances in AWS and Kubernetes;
• At least an Intermediate level of English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Azure and/or GCP;
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python or NodeJS;
• Familiarity with Machine Learning and/or MLOps practices is a big plus.
