Middle/Senior Big Data Engineer in GlobalLogic

Every day, as a company we serve billions of ads, process terabytes of data and provide valuable data and insights to our publishers and buyers. You will be working directly on the suite of world-class applications offering business intelligence reports for our customers, help them monitor Ads serving results and metrics trendings, also assist them make critical business decisions based on the Actionable Insights. You will work with a group of talented Software Engineers to deliver the industry-leading data processing system that generates accurate, fast, and reliable reports

Requirements:

- Experience building and operating large-scale, high throughput, low latency enterprise apps

- Strong knowledge of Scala or Java. 3+ years of working experience in server-side Java or Scala.

- A strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and an ability to recognize the business and technical trade-offs between different

solutions

- Expertise in threading and concurrency

- Expertise in Service-oriented architectures, microservices, highly scalable and available web services.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks (TDD, Mocking, Unit/Functional/Integration)

- Experience working in a Linux environment.

- Expertise in building software in an agile development environment

- Demonstrated strong English language verbal and written communication skills

The plus if you have experience with the next items:

- Experience with SQL queries and stored procedures (or MySQL)

- Experience with Druid, Vertica or other analytical databases

- Experience with AWS

Job Responsibilities:
