Middle/Senior Backend (PHP) Developer in ​Finsight Group Inc.

The Role:

We are looking for a Middle/Senior Backend (PHP) Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be a part of a motivated team that is responsible for implementing new functionality for one of the platforms, researching and evaluating technical solutions, and writing quality and maintainable code.

Key requirements:

● 3+ years of commercial PHP development;

● PHP 8+ (OOP);

● Familiar with Symfony, Laravel, Yii frameworks;

● Databases (MySQL 8.0+, Postgres) — all types of joins, knowledge of groupings and window functions, transactions, understanding of indexes;

● Knowledge of design patterns and best practices (clean/onion/hexagonal (layers), SOA, SOLID, KISS, DRY, YAGNI);

● DDD understanding;

● Docker, k8s: (basic knowledge);

● Git, Pull Request workflow, CI/CD

● High level of responsibility;

● Great attention to detail;

● Being a collaborative and flexible team player;

● Strong communication skills;

● Time management skills;

● English level: Intermediate.

Would be a plus:

● Google Cloud, AWS services integrations

● Microservices, СQRS understanding (message queue/bus, JSON-RPC/grpc protocols);

● NodeJS, Python

● WebSockets

● NoSql DB (ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, etc.)

Key responsibilities:

● Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements;

● Implementation of new functionality and support existing code;

● Analyze and estimate implementation efforts;

● Write quality, maintainable code. Follow company standarts;

● Writing tests.

● Monitoring application state.

● Participate in Agile team routines a processes.
