Middle / Senior Angular developer in Confitech Dienstleistungs GmbH

The German logistics company is looking for a senior Java developer to join an existing team, that develops an ERP system for internal use. 

The company specializes in transporting and storing valuable and sensitive objects. The company takes care of the specific planning and the safe handling of any logistics project.

This project is in the MVP stage now. Good processes & documentation. No legacy code. As a front-end developer, you will be involved in a team of 2 frontend, 5 backend developers, DevOps & QA to develop new functions & modules.

This system is developed for use by several companies of the holding and is planned to be realized in the fall of 2024.

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
• Proven experience working with Angular (2+ years for Middle, 4+ years for Senior).

Skills:

• Proficient in Angular framework and its core principles.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, NPM, etc.).
• Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, Redux).
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA)
• English: B2+

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.

Additional Requirements for Senior Developers:

• Experience in leading a development team or mentoring junior developers.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
• Ability to make architectural decisions and influence technical direction.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Would be a plus:

• Experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, JAVA).
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud services (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure).
• German language
