Now we are looking for a Middle Qualitative Researcher in the Quality Department of Kantar Ukraine - a researcher-analyst and moderator who will focus on qualitative user research and help build a systemic understanding of motivations, barriers and behavior consumers. In this role, you will work with the full cycle of qualitative research: from hypothesis formation and methodology to analytics, insights and presentation of results to clients.
What you need to do:
- Manage qualitative research end-to-end: from problem statement, hypotheses and methodology design to final report and presentation of results
- Moderate in-depth interviews (IDI) and focus groups (FGD)
- Prepare guides, screenings, research tools, work with recruiting and field teams
- Conduct analytics of qualitative data, generate, verify and prioritize insights
- Prepare analytical reports and presentations, present the results to clients and top management
- Work both with standard qual-approaches:
- brand research
- advertising and creative testing
- segmentation research
- And with modern UX / CX methodologies:
- Customer Journey Map (CJM)
3 years in qualitative research (agency or in-house)
- Professional education: psychology, sociology, marketing or related fields
Methodological expertise:
- Practical experience with methods:
- focus groups
- in-depth interviews
- ethnographic observation
- usability / UX testing
- Understanding of research in a product environment (IT, fintech, design, marketing teams - will be an advantage)
Analytics and tools:
- Strong analytical thinking and storytelling
- Confident command of PowerPoint (or similar)
- Experience with tools for UX / CJM:
- Experience with survey platforms:
- Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey or similar
- Experience with remote user testing tools will be a plus:
- UserTesting, Dscout, Maze, UserZoom
Soft skills:
- The ability to lead pprojects independently and in a team
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Organization, attention to details, ability to work with several tasks in parallel
Language:
- English - Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
- ability to moderate interviews
- write reports and present results in English
