About the project:

We develop freight procurement platforms for the spot (one-time) and contract markets. The platform helps connect procurement, execution, intelligence, and integrations in a coherent solution.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Professional QA and Development Experience: Possess at least two years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and software development. This experience will allow you to apply industry best practices to ensure the delivery of top-notch products;
• Test Case and Test Plan Execution: Proven experience in writing and executing test cases and test plans. Your ability to identify edge cases and corner scenarios will contribute to comprehensive test coverage;
• API Testing: Working experience with API testing of RESTful and GraphQL endpoints using Postman or similar tools, ensuring robust API functionality and integration;
• Web Testing: Working experience with Web testing using Chrome DevTools;
• Database and Querying: Familiarity with databases such as MS SQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch, along with experience in writing and executing queries to validate data integrity;
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, will enable you to thrive in our fast-paced, iterative development process;
• Working Knowledge of XRay: Familiarity with XRay, a powerful test management tool for Jira, will be essential in streamlining the testing process and tracking test results efficiently — would be a plus;
• .NET and JavaScript Experience: Hands-on experience working with .Net and JavaScript technologies will enable you to understand the intricacies of our software solutions and identify potential issues efficiently — would be a plus;
• Automated Testing Tools: Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress will be a valuable asset in integrating manual and automated testing efforts.
• Relevant College Degree: A degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, Media Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline will demonstrate your academic background in software development and quality assurance — would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Create and Execute Test Cases: You will be responsible for developing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and plans that cover all aspects of the software functionality. Your expertise in understanding product requirements and user stories will aid you in designing effective test scenarios;
• Testing Activities Coordination: Collaborate with Automation Engineers to ensure that test cases can be automated using XRay, our preferred test management tool. By fostering synergy between manual and automated testing efforts, you will contribute to the efficiency and scalability of our testing processes;
• API Testing: Conduct thorough testing of application programming interfaces (APIs) using tools like Postman or similar tools. You will verify API functionality, data validation, and performance to ensure seamless integration between different components of our platform;
• Database Testing: Utilize your experience working with databases such as MS SQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch to perform data validation and integrity testing. You will write and execute queries to ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of data;
• Estimation and Prioritization: Assess the scope of testing tasks and estimate the time required to complete them accurately. Prioritize testing activities based on project needs and timelines, promptly addressing critical issues;
• Agile Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly within an Agile development environment, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other team activities. Your contributions will play a significant role in delivering high-quality software in each iteration;
• Bug Reporting and Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools like XRay. Your clear and concise bug reports will facilitate timely resolution and help maintain a smooth development process.
