We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Middle QA Engineer to join our tech team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our application, focusing on manual testing. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the development team to identify, report, and track software defects, as well as ensuring the application’s functionality aligns with user requirements and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of our web-based application to identify bugs and usability issues. This includes smoke testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Test Case Development: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases using TestRail or similar tools. Incorporate various testing methodologies to cater to different testing scenarios.
• Defect Tracking: Record and document thoroughly any bugs found during testing; work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Payment Systems Testing: Test integrations with external Payment Service Providers (PSPs) like Stripe, PayPal, etc., ensuring secure and efficient payment processing.
• Analytics Testing: Validate marketing and product analytics implementations, including Facebook events, Amplitude events, and others.
• API Testing: Conduct API testing to ensure that all backend integrations and interactions function as expected, enhancing the overall reliability of the application.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the product management and development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on product design and functionality.
• Project Team Activities: Participate actively in project team activities and collaborations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, with a focus on web applications.
• Payments: Experience with testing integrations with external Payment Service Providers.
• Attention to Details: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle issues in complex software systems.
• Test Documentation: Experience in writing test documentation.
• Bug-Tracking Systems: Proficiency in working with bug-tracking systems.
• Tools Proficiency: Experience with test management systems (TestRail, TestLink), and an understanding of client-server application workings.
• Advanced Testing Methodologies: Proficiency in advanced testing methodologies.
• API Testing Knowledge: Experience in API testing.
• Agile/Scrum Experience: Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Cross-Platform Testing Experience: Experience in testing applications across multiple platforms (web, mobile) and devices.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. English: intermediate or higher level.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Will be a plus:

• Familiarity with testing marketing and product analytics (Facebook, Amplitude, etc).
