With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.About the roleAs a Middle PHP Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for a Swedish company based in Malta which offers casino games, slots, online card games, poker, blackjack, sports betting, online bingo and other online games to its clients, while also protecting them. Responsibilities:Design and develop new Backend featuresPerform functional requirements analysisWrite high-quality code and documentationWork closely with other developers, QA, and product teamsApply analytical skills and be committed to qualityHelp track requests, issues, work progress, and any other changes using our project management toolsProvide estimates and technical documentation on requestWrite code with performance, reliability, and maintainability in mindManage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverablesWork in collaboration with external partners when requiredManage code changes using our version control systemPerform code reviewsRequirements:Experience in software development for more than 3 yearsExcellent knowledge in Computer Science, Computing Theory:Paradigm & Principles (OOP, SOLID)Database theory (RDBMS)Code testing practicesDesign PatternsUnderstanding of network interactions:conventions (e.g. REST, RPC)authentication and authorization flowsExcellent knowledge and experience in PHP (more than 2 years)Practical commercial experience with:REST API developmentWeb application frameworks (e.g. Symfony, Laravel) (more than 2 years)Testing frameworks (e.g. PHPUnit, Codeception, Behat, Dusk) (more than 2 years)Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5ORM (e.g. Doctrine, Eloquent) (more than 2 years)RDBMS (e.g MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL) (more than 2 years)Key-value storages (e.g. Redis, Memcached)Version control systems (GIT)DockerExperience with:Agile software processes and technologiesCode Review processFluent or Upper-Intermediate EnglishDesirable:Certifications on:Zend PHPPractical commercial experience with:GraphQLNoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, ElasticSearch, CouchDB)Cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure)Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Gitlab Pipeline, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo)What's in it for you?Care: your mental and physical health is our priority.
