Middle PHP developer (Laravel) in Söderberg & Partners Heartpace AB

Required skills:

• 4+ years of proven experience in Software development
• High technical education in computer science is a must
• Strong knowledge of Laravel framework is a must
• Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID, DRY principles, design patterns, and PSR standards
• Knowledge and experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) databases, query optimization, joins, aggregations, transactions, stored procedures
• Clear understanding of TDD, BDD
• Experience with *nix
• Understanding Git versions control system
• Clear understanding of how to write DRY, KISS and optimized for high load code
• Experience working with the Docker environment, container registry
• Understanding and practical usage of AWS stack: route53, ECS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS
• Event driven architecture practical usage, SQS/SNS, fifo setup
• Development workflows knowledge (SDLC), Jira

As a plus:

• Experience with Unit tests
• Experience with queues/messaging (Amazon SQS, RabbitMQ etc)
• Knowledge of Javascript
• Experience in management (having subordinates)

Must have personal qualities like:

• Ability to work in a team
• Good analytical skills and attention to details
• Ability to understand someone else’s code
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English
