Middle PHP Developer in NewGMedia

We're looking for a Middle PHP Developer to a product company.

✔️ About the company/project:

We are a marketing platform of games from different providers in iGaming sphere (Gambling, Online Casino). Working only with legal markets based on licenses (MGA and Curacao).

We have 8+ years on the market. Experienced team development of existing 9 brands.

✔️ Requirements:

- At least 2 years of commercial experience with PHP v 7+;
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and basic design patterns;
- At least 1 year of experience with Symfony;
- Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferably). (Writing complex queries and their optimization, transactions, and locks);
- Experience with non-relational databases (preferably Elasticsearch and Redis);
- Experience with message brokers, preferably Kafka;
- Must have experience with Docker, docker-compose, and Git;
- Proficiency in English for reading and writing tech documentation;
- Experience with microservices and high load is a plus.

✔️ Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain high-quality software using best practices in software development;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and DevOps engineers to ensure the software is deployable, scalable, and maintainable;
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented code;
- Troubleshoot and debug software;
- Continuously improve software performance and scalability;
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development;
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team processes and standards;
- Help build and maintain the backend architecture of the software;
- Write Unit and Functional tests.
