Middle PHP Developer in SKELAR

Now we are looking forMiddle PHP developer (Laravel).

Brighterly is a closed marketplace with 1-on-1 math tutoring for kids in the US market. We are building a full-fledged online school with STEM sciences for children. Now our users in the form of parents can get professional services to help their children with problems that classical educational institutions cannot cope with. We have personalized approaches to each child and are focused on results. Over two years, they conducted more than 10,000 lessons and graduated more than 2,000 students.

What challenges await:
— Development of a client office: Building a ticket system for communication between parents and teachers , chat, selling page, feedbacks, referral system, schedule lesson, self-activation flow;
— Development of a tutor’s office: apply for tutor, chat, schedule management, analytics; increasing the efficiency of operational processes;
— AI-caller integration;
— Finding and optimizing bottlenecks in the system, as well as building monitoring.

What is important to us:
—1.5+ years of experience in backend development;
— Experience with PHP 8 (OOP, PHPUnit);
— Laravel 7+ (or experience with other frameworks) ;
— Experience with Linux;
— Knowledge of Git, OOP, Design Patterns.

Will be a plus:
— Experience with Queues, background processing;
— Experience with REST API's;
— Able to cover new code with unit tests ( test cases, coverage management);
— CI/CD;
— Knowledge of another programming language (GoLang, Python, Java, NodeJS, etc);
— GCP, AWS, Digitalocean, Kubernetes/ Helm, Istio.
