Middle Manual QA Engineer (Back-end) in Ajax Systems

That is why the QA Department at Ajax Systems accompanies the product both at the development stage and in the process of production and further development. They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a team of "clickers", these are creative engineers. They test new devices in various extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce complex weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and flooding. About the project: The server part is invisible to the end user, but critical for the life of the entire system. We support more than a million simultaneous connections and that number is growing rapidly. We are constantly adding new functionality and increasing the stability of our cloud. Our development team is engaged in ensuring the stable and uninterrupted operation of the server, optimizing its use and speed by improving the infrastructure, and QA - help to do it qualitatively. In connection with the expansion of the team, we are looking for a Middle Manual Quality Assurance Engineer (backend). The necessary knowledge and skills: 2+ years of MQA experience, of which 1+ experience in backend testing. Knowledge of client-server architecture; Knowledge of API (Postman) and its testing methods; Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (MongoDB); Basic knowledge of networks (network), Linux; Work with logs and logging systems; Knowledge of STLC and its application in practice (building test processes) Working with requirements (static testing), their decomposition into test documentation; Writing all types of test documentation (Jira/TestRail). Will be a plus: Understanding of metrics and experience working with DataDog, GrafanaPerformance testing (own scripts, Jmeter and others) working with Python; Experience with Kibana, Docker, AWS; Understanding of embedded systems. Tasks: Backend testing, namely: cloud server; Working with various protocols: low-level binaries, API , gRPC; Programmer support during development; Help technical support in analyzing complex cases; Ability to take responsibility for a separate part of the project.
