Middle Manual QA Engineer (Back-end) in Ajax Systems

That is why the QADepartment at Ajax Systems supports the product both in the development stage and in the production process and further development. They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a team of "clickers", these are creative engineers. They test new devices in various extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce complex weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and heating. About the project: The server part is invisible to the end user, but critical for the life of the entire system. We support more than a million simultaneous connections and the number is growing rapidly. We are constantly adding new functionality and increasing the stability of our cloud. Our development team is engaged in ensuring the stable and uninterrupted operation of the server, optimizing its use and speed with the help of improving the infrastructure, and QA helps to do this qualitatively. In connection with the expansion of the team, we are looking for a Middle Manual Quality Assurance Engineer (backend). Required knowledge and skills: 2+ years of MQA experience, with 1+ experience in backend testing. Knowledge of client-server architecture; Knowledge of API (Postman) and its testing methods; Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (MongoDB); Basic knowledge of networks (network), Linux; Work with databases and logging systems; Knowledge of STLC and its application in practice (construction of testing processes) Work with requirements (static testing), their decomposition in the test documentation; Writing all types of test documentation (Jira/TestRail). It will be a plus: Understanding of metrics and experience with DataDog, GrafanaPerformance testing (own scripts, Jmeter and others) Python skills; Experience with Kibana, Docker, AWS; Understanding of embedded systems. Task: Backend testing , asame: cloud server; Work with various protocols: low-level binaries, API, gRPC; Support programmers during development; Help technical support in the analysis of complex cases; The ability to take responsibility for a separate part of the project.
