Middle Manual QA Back-end Engineer in Ajax Systems

R&D is responsible for device development at Ajax, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA. We are looking for a new Manual QA Back-end Engineer who will strengthen the Core server team. What is technically interesting about the vacancy? The server part is invisible to the end user, but critical to the life of the entire system. We support more than a million simultaneous connections and that number is growing rapidly. We are constantly adding new functionality and increasing the stability of our cloud. Our development team is dedicated to ensuring the stable and smooth operation of the server, optimizing its use and speed by improving the infrastructure, and QA helps to do this qualitatively. Required knowledge and skills: 2+ years of experience in the position of MQA backend; Thorough knowledge of client-server architecture; Knowledge of monolithic and microservice architecture; Knowledge of API and its testing methods; Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (MongoDB); Basic knowledge of networks (network), Linux; Root cause analysis (RCA) of bugs in logs, logging system (Kibana); Knowledge of STLC and its application in practice (construction of testing processes); Ability to qualitatively analyze requirements (static testing) and decompose them into test documentation; Writing of all types of test documentation (Jira/TestRail); Higher technical education is desirable (can be a student of a higher education institution); Knowledge of English at the level no lower than Intermediate. Will be a plus: Understanding of metrics and experience with DataDog, Grafana; Performance testing (own scripts, Jmeter and others); Proficiency in Python; Experience with BloomRPC, Kibana, Docker, AWS; Understanding of embedded systems.
