Middle Full-Stack (PHP) Developer in Scimus

As a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on PHP, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web products, APIs, as well as maintaining corresponding Test Suites. You will help modernize existing eCommerce architecture and write new features. You will work closely with the Product Owner and other engineering teams to implement the company's business initiatives.

We are working with a music software company that specializes in developing virtual instruments and software synthesizers and selling them from their e-store. They are known for creating high-quality and innovative virtual instruments that emulate classic analog synthesizers and other vintage electronic musical instruments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Be a proactive team member that willing to learn and help others.

• Utilize modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to create responsive and intuitive user experiences.

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using PHP.

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code.

• Integrate data storage solutions and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests.

• API development.

• Optimize database performance and ensure seamless data integration.

• Suggest & implement web-based solutions for business needs.

Skills And Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional engineering experience.

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer.

• 1+ years experience with WordPress and/or WooCommerce.

• Experience with raw PHP coding (without frameworks, legacy code).

• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.).

• Familiarity with database design and management, preferably MySQL.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong Git and GitHub skills.

• REST API Development.

• Writing testable code.

• Using an issue tracker as a means of communication.

• Intermediate level of English or above (verbal and written).

• Strong communication skills (ask questions, propose solutions, teamwork!).
