We are looking for a Software Engineer, who will lead our technical solutions and spearhead problem-solving initiatives. Your role involves more than just guiding the development process, it requires a strategic leadership approach to tackle complex challenges, optimize our platform’s architecture, and ensure an exceptional user experience. Your deep understanding of web technologies and your ability to drive solutions in a dynamic environment would help you efficiently lead the team.

We will enjoy working together, if :

— Comfortable with AWS Cloud technologies.

— Has experience of working with different data stores.

— Specifically, RDS, Snowflake, and graph databases.

— Display leadership qualities, capable of steering projects with minimal oversight, and contribute significantly to team achievements.

— Enjoy direct interactions with clients and team members to shape project directions.

— Are curious, open-minded, and adaptable to changes.

— Are committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

— Able to determine sensible KPIs and optimize against them.

You’ll spend time on the following:

— Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

— Leading the design, implementation, and management of large-scale distributed systems using microservices and modern web technologies.

— Driving the entire software development lifecycle from concept to deployment, emphasizing architecture, coding, testing, and operations.

— Mentoring less experienced team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

— Extensive experience with modern front-end technologies (Typescript, React, Next.js) and back-end services (Node.js).

— Experience with various database technologies and query language (we use Neo4j, Kafka,Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, and more).

— Experience writing unit and integration tests.

— Proficiency in working with various database technologies and optimizing data models to enhance performance and reliability.

— Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to handle complex technical challenges in new and existing systems.

— A proactive approach to adopting new technologies and methodologies, with a history of effectively integrating them into projects.

— English upper-intermediate.

In the cities where we have offices (Kyiv, Dnipro), we have a mandatory hybrid work format — 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
