Middle DevOps Engineer (GCP) in Delasport

Delasport is an iGaming Software company providing Sports Betting & Online Casino software, and turnkey B2B solutions. Established in 2010, Delasport delivers a one-stop-shop solution of Sports Betting and Online Casino from a White-Label, with a full range of management services to a Plug&Play iFrame and a complete Turnkey. We are establishing an R&D centre in Kyiv, and are looking for top talents to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

- Design, build, and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes for deploying and orchestrating microservices.

- Collaborate with software development teams to streamline the CI/CD pipeline and implement automated build, test, and deployment processes.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.

- Implement and manage configuration management tools such as Ansible to ensure consistent and efficient deployment across environments.

- Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks, taking proactive measures to optimize and improve overall system reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and deployments in a timely manner.

- Participate in the on-call rotation with the DevOps team, responding to alerts and incidents outside of regular business hours

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices related to DevOps, cloud computing, and containerization.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Resilient and flexible mindset, open to changing priorities and adapting to new challenges and technologies as the business evolves.

- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes, and experience managing containerized environments.

- Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform for provisioning cloud resources.

- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and their integration with CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure the health and performance of systems.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
