About the team:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to complement a small dedicated team. It will be necessary to work on internal tasks of the team and tasks from Dev teams involved in the development and maintenance of payment systems.

What is important for this position. What experience is interesting:

• practical experience of working with Kubernetes and helm, as a package manager under it;
• practical experience with Terraform;
• administration * nix;
• practical experience of working with clouds, mainly with GCP;
• understanding the principles of High Availability and 0-downtime deployments.

Additional experience/knowledge as a plus:

• PostgreSQL administration (PiTR, backups, HA);
• experience with CI / CD setup based on Gitlab CI;
• understanding of gitops principles;
• writing scripts in Python (or other languages);
• administration of HashiCorp Vault

Nearest tasks in the project:

• A number of tasks to improve infrastructure monitoring;
• Creation of R`n`D k8s cluster (sandbox);
• Updating a number of 3rd party software that is already in use;
• Construction of processes for increasing the level of image security.
