We’re seeking a skilled Middle Data Engineer to join our client’s team — a company that works with ventures investment for start-ups.

The project involves enhancing data democratization and governance for the investment and community teams. It includes developing and expanding existing data pipelines, incorporating APIs, AI copilot features, and data visualization tools. The role focuses on tackling complex tasks and modern infrastructure development. Join us to make the world better!

Requirements:

• Fluency in Python & SQL
• Experience in data orchestration, ETL/ELT, data modelling, data APIs, and data visualization tools
• Hands-on expertise with generative AI
• Experience with IaC and cloud platforms, especially Google BigQuery
• Drive for ongoing exploration and prototyping of new tools / approaches, be it frontend or backend
• Strong experience with dev / testing in an agile development environment
• Excellence in English, German optional

Responsibilities:

• Enhance data democratization and governance for the investment and community team
• Develop and expand existing data pipelines within the data processing system incl. API, AI copilot, data visualisation
• Tackle non-trivial tasks alongside modern infrastructure development
• Closely work together from our experienced Head of Engineering with own ownerships
