Job description:

We are looking for a talented Middle CV/ML Engineer to work on video stream processing, image retriever and feature extractor model building tasks. You will be responsible for integration with search engines (eg FAISS), creation of augmentations and data analysis. If you have experience in the field of computer vision and machine learning and are ready for new challenges, we will be glad to see you in our team.

About the company

Startup company FlightMind.AI develops navigation for UAVs that work without GPS. This allows the UAV to navigate in space in conditions of strong EW opposition, when there is no communication with GPS satellites and/or the pilot. Our project won hackathons from the Ministry of Digital and the Ministry of Defense, and also represented Ukraine at the technology exhibition VivaTech 2023 in Paris.

Our development should become a real Game Changer in UAV application. We invite motivated engineers to join the team so that our product can start working faster for the Defense Forces.

Main responsibilities:

• Development and optimization of models for video stream processing.
• Construction of image retriever and feature extractor models.
• Integration of models with search engines (for example, FAISS).
• Creation and implementation of augmentations to improve the quality of models.
• Data analysis to identify patterns and improve models.
• Collaboration with other engineers and researchers to implement the best solutions.
• Participation in all stages of development, from planning to testing and implementation.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of CV/ML Engineer experience.
• Deep understanding of computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with Python and machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Knowledge and experience with FAISS or similar search engines.
• Experience in creating augmentations for model training.
• Knowledge of basic video and image processing techniques.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data.

Will be an advantage:

• Experience with distributed computing systems.
• Knowledge of other programming languages ​​(C++, Java).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Experience working in a team using the Agile methodology.
