Middle Business Analyst (Blockchain) in Boosty Labs

We are developing version 0.1 of a new layer-2 blockchain and super app. This involves creating a Substrate-based L2 chain and integrating it with a forked version of the Signal messaging application.

Project Stack: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Rust

Team on the project: Back-end Developer, Front-end Developer, Smart Contract Developer, Mobile Developer, BA, PM, UI/UX Designer, QA, Tech Writer, DevOps

Requirements:
 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst or Product Manager role
• Experience working on blockchain and web3 projects
• Basic understanding of software development methodologies
• Ability to organize and lead workshops and meetings to gather information from subject matter experts
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience in managing requirements (Use Cases, User Stories) throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence tools
• Strong knowledge of documentation and requirements elicitation techniques (BABOK)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Responsibilities
 

• Identify and engage key stakeholders and project sponsors to ensure alignment with business objectives and secure necessary support for initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document business requirements and processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending effective solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate the viability and potential risks of proposed business initiatives or system enhancements
• Facilitate requirements workshops and meetings, gathering information from subject matter experts and translating it into clear, concise documentation
• Ensure clear communication and collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that requirements are understood and accurately implemented
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all requirements, processes, and analysis, ensuring they are accessible and up-to-date throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in testing and validation activities to confirm that the delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
• Support ongoing project implementation, troubleshooting issues related to requirements, and ensuring continuous alignment with business goals
