Middle Business Analyst in NIK-ELEKTRONIKA, TOV

NIK-Elektronika LLC - a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of equipment for automating energy accounting. We create modern electricity, water and heat meters, as well as software for their management. For more than 20 years, we have been implementing innovative solutions for transparent and efficient accounting of energy resources, working both on the Ukrainian and international markets.

We are looking for a Middle Business Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in the product development process, acting as a link between stakeholders and the technical team. Your task is to clearly formulate requirements and ensure that the final product meets the needs of the business.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Gathering Requirements: Conducting interviews, workshops and meetings with stakeholders to identify, collect and analyze business requirements.
• Documentation: Creating detailed requirements documents (SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria) and keeping them up-to-date.
• Analysis: Analysis and modeling of business processes (AS-IS and TO-BE), identifying gaps and proposing effective solutions.
• Prioritization: Cooperation with the Product Manager and the team to prioritize tasks and manage the scope of work (Scope Management).
• Collaboration: Supporting the development team and QA, explaining requirements and resolving ambiguities throughout the development cycle.
• Prototyping: Creating basic visual prototypes (wireframes) to better illustrate solutions (will be an advantage).

Basic Requirements (Must-Have):

• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of work experience as a Business Analyst or system analyst in the IT field (software development provisioning).
• BA Techniques: Confident mastery of basic requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation techniques.
• Documentation: Hands-on experience writing quality User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria.
• Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
• Tools: Confident knowledge of requirements management and modeling tools (egJira, Confluence, Balsamiq/Figma).
• Analytical Thinking: High analytical skills, ability to structure information and solveyou are complex problems.
• Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Ukrainian and English (level not lower than Upper-Intermediate).

Would be an advantage (Nice-to-Have):

• Experience with SQL for data analysis or hypothesis testing.
• Experience in process modeling (BPMN, UML).
• Availability of certifications (eg CBAP, CCBA or Scrum/Agile certifications).
• Experience in a specific domain area (FinTech, E-commerce, Telecom).
