Middle Backend Node.js Developer in Ekreative

We are looking for a Middle Backend Node.js developer, who will become a part of our talented team and will actively participate in project development and support.

City: Ukraine (only)

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• 3+ years of commercial experience at the same position
• Experience with Node.js, Express.js, or similar technologies
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience creating RESTful API
• Using 3rd party services
• Experience in writing unit tests or strong theoretical knowledge
• Ability to plan development process, set the task, and check work results
• Working experience with GIT flow
• Experience with AWS services (as a plus)
• Experience with Socket.IO (as a plus)
• English: at least Intermediate (B1)

Responsibilities:

• Build API for the web app
• Refactoring legacy code to modern new code
• Work with payment system
• Work with Video/audio calls
• Integrate third party systems and services
• Communication with the client directly via Slack and calls
